Welcome!
So you want to know how to print t-shirts or posters, or perhaps you want to start your own print shop. Very smart choice! Whether you’re starting in your garage or a large warehouse space, screen printing is a business that can start small and grow quickly with your expanding customer base. Nowadays there are hardly any limits to what you can print on. Most screen printers begin printing t-shirts and gig posters but move up to printing on pens, bags, even street signs and urinal pads! Yes! Urinal pads! Maybe you’re an artist and you want a way to mass produce your art and share it with the world. Or maybe you just want to do something fun as a hobby. Screen printing can be all of those things and I’d like to show you how to do it.
About the author
My name is Casey Kleypas and I have been in the screen printing industry since 2007, first as a production artist and later as an art director. That may not sound like a long time but since then I have worked with VERY different screen printing companies and worked on thousands and thousands of print jobs from tiny customers to huge epic companies. I love attending screen printing trade shows and classes and talking to countless others in the screen printing industry to learn all of the tricks of the trade.
